Okay, so this was my 2nd attempt at coming here, as when I pulled in yesterday, I saw a liquor store and got a little sketched out. I consulted with coworkers and they told me this was a gold mine…, well…. they were 100% right! There are two entrances, one thru the liquor store and one on the side of the building. (They were featured on diners, drive ins, and dives)…. quirky!

So my wife and I went back and forth today … it was either steak or wings… so I decided to look on trusty ol yelp to see what steak pLaces might pop up. I’ve had some good steaks in the burque area, but thought maybe I’m missing something… and boy have I been missing something!! So the first place that popped up was Monte Carlo. I was like whaaaaaa?! Where is that?!

Great food, great staff, and great ambience make for a dining experience that will have you talking about it long after you’ve gone. Make sure you make it an early dinner because after 5 PM the wait for a table gets longer and longer. This popular restaurant brings diners from the Sandia Heights and North Valley while faithfully serving it’s families from the south valley.
